Free access to child activities, free access to waterpark, guests are free on daily basis, free Wi-Fi, and the dog can also come, free of charge.

At Aabo Camping, we have three different camping pitch options:

  • Standard pitches, which is 100 sqm and all with possibility for power supply.
  • 120 sqm pitches, which are 20 sqm larger than the standard lots and all with possibility for power supply, too.
  • Comfort pitches, which is 120 sqm with own drain for waste water, possibility for emptying the chemical toilet on the site and access to water direct at the site.

What Tversted and Aabo Camping can offer you?

Aabo Camping has a beautiful location in Tversted, straight to the lovely North Sea and only 35 km from Skagen. Tversted city has gotten the nickname “tiny Skagen” among other things its location in the lovely surroundings, close to forest and beach. You find among other things “The blue ice cream house” at the beach, which was Denmark’s greatest ice cream house in 2017. You also find small cozy restaurants, a swanky fish restaurant with fish buffet, bars and a large local daily store in Tversted

Every year there is a market in town (the weekend in week 29). On the market are merchants, small cozy stands, live music and an amusement park for children and childish souls. In Tversted, there is also various antique stores, i.e. Lykkegaard, who is famous from Danish national television, channel “DR1”.

About Aabo Camping and seasonal pitches

Here’s a few select things you will find at the campsite:

  • The waterpark, which as always is heated to minimum 23 degrees Celsius and opens daily from 10 AM – 6 PM (the waterpark opens for the season on 2nd June).
  • Gaming arcade with billiards and various archaic plays.
  • Miniature golf course with 12 lanes for only € 2,75 per player.
  • A large playground with among other things jumping pillow, aerial runway, trampolines and much more.
  • A launderette.
  • A small store who makes fresh bread on daily basis.
  • A café, which offers delicious homemade traditional Danish food at affordable and reasonable prices.

Furthermore, we have two buildings with toilets, baths and a kitchen area with patio with tables and benches, and a large common barbeque. At the campsite, we also have child activities 6 days a week, these activities are free to participate in and take place at noon and again in the evening, the activities are only in the summer holiday for children in school.
